i amvery proud of myself. I am being really good about portion control and eating healthy.<br />
&#160;I have not gained an ounce back!! I am continuing to lose weight.<br />
&#160;It is slow but steady!<br />
<br />
I did jillian's DVD again alst night! I also did a little bit of treadmill.<br />
I feel really good! i've started on a multi vitamin and still am drinking plenty<br />
of water.<br />
I feel really proud and motivated!!<br />
I am going to learn kettlebell workout this weekend.<br />
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT!!!!<br />
<br />
I think I need to bring up my stamina a bit before<br />
I get into kettlebell all the time, but it's a great workout<br />
it works out many muscles at one time, as does Jillian's<br />
workouts which in turn you get faster results. But you<br />
get REAL results that last! as long as you keep it up!<br />
these kinds of workouts are FUn and it makes<br />
SUCH a difference when you are enjoying yourself.<br />

<font size="3"><strong>Working It All Out</strong></font><br />
When you're just starting to work out, being a little sore is totally normal. But as your workouts progress, you need to be aware of how your body is reacting to what you're doing. Do 20 lunges after not having done them in months, and you'll be sore the next day — that's how you know the lunges worked. If you keep doing 20 lunges every day, after a while you'll stop feeling the difference, and that means it's not productive anymore. It's so important to keep yourself challenged to see results.
<p>When it comes to intensity, you'll learn to use your own judgment. If it feels too easy, increase intensity; if it feels too difficult or your form is comprised, decrease intensity. You'll find your abilities change as you move forward.</p>
<p>Here is some of the advice my teammates have given about working it all out:</p>
<ul>
<li>"Some people think being sore means something is wrong — it's not. If you are not sore, it might mean you are in better condition than you thought you were, but it doesn't mean that you won't experience some muscle soreness in the future as the workouts step up in difficulty. Just keep on track with what you are doing — working out is NEVER a waste of your time!" – <em>Gypsy990</em></li>
<li>"Stretching is always important. If I've done a really tough workout where I'm very sore the next day, I'll usually try to do some flexibility exercises or pilates, instead of jumping right back into something the next day. You need to give your muscles time to recuperate, but then again, you should be ready to go a day or so later!! I try to tell myself that it really feels good" – <em>SkinnyDean</em></li>
<li>"My shoulders and lats are sore, but otherwise I'm feeling good. I can really feel the muscles in my quads now and that keeps me going during a particularly hard circuit." – <em>gettinfit4mykids<br />

		<title>week one&#8230;jillian michaels DVD</title>

ok so I finished week one of my Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD.<br />
I love it!<br />
it's hard but fun<br />
just when you think you can't do anymore Jillian says something<br />
that makes you keep going...it's very weird how on point it is!<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="FONT-SIZE: 22px"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">So i've lost 2 lbs this week!!!!!!</span></strong></span><br />
<br />
YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAAYAYAAAAY!!!<br />
<br />
I was so happy when I saw that on the scale!<br />
i did her DVD 5 days this week!<br />
I gave myself a rest twice&#160;because I really was feeling it!<br />
and it was the right thing to do. I knew when to push another day and when to<br />
rest.<br />
I feel really good!<br />
and my stamina has gona up a bit. I wasn't as tired today as I was on day one<br />
doing her routine.<br />
<br />
I"m still on level one but i'm ok with this.<br />
I think that I'd rather get as much as I can out of level one<br />
and feel like I really can do more...before I move on.<br />
What's the point of moving up if I can't hang?<br />
<br />
I bought a pair of 2 lb hand weights this weekend.<br />
i was using 3 lb ones but i kinda felt like I was straining a bit.<br />
The point of Jillian's workout is to use light weights and do many repititions.<br />
if you use heavier weights then you will bulk up more...<br />
I am trying to&#160;LOSE the bulk!!! lol<br />
It was better workout today because of it!<br />
<br />
I am still eating pretty good...<br />
<br />
most days I have high fiber oatmeal for breakfast<br />
and a large coffee<br />
<br />
light snack 2 times a day<br />
<br />
i've been on a soup kick for lunch lately.<br />
<br />
and a healthy dinner.<br />
<br />
i feel really good!<br />
I"ll admit at night I tend to crave somehting sweet but I can<br />
normally have a small something and it satisfies me! :)<br />
<br />
but if I want icecream I have it!<br />
JUST THE RIGHT PORTION!!!!<br />
i don't over do it!<br />
<br />
well i'm gonna go now.<br />
tomorrow starts week 2!!<br />

<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: 'Baskerville Old Face'">There were a lot of profanities coming out of my mouth</span></p>

This is the DVD i will be doing for the next 30 days. I'm about to get shredded!! lol<br />
I've been reading her book: Winning by Losing and it's really quite interesting.<br />
it talks a lot about how working out and weight loss a lot to do with your mentality about it.<br />
your attitude...you have to really be ready for the change because in order for you to lose weight and keep it off you have to change your habits FOR LIFE!<br />
you can't just change until you are at your goal weight...slowly but surely it will creep back on again.<br />
<br />
Jillian's whole thing is 3-2-1 method. Each level contains a 20-minute workout based on Jillian's exclusive 3-2-1 Strength/Cardio/Ab training circuit: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of ab work. There's also a brief warm-up session and a cool down stretch.<br />

HOLY SHIT!! this was my first day but my heart was pumping I was sweating and i felt the burn! there are a lot of old school moved like jumping-jacks and push-ups but these are the continued moved that show results!! I am a bit achy now!! and it's been a few hours!!<br />
<br />
I did the level one 20 minutes. I was thinking that there is NO WAY i was going to get a work out in 20 minutes!! oh yes i did! i feel good...at one point i had to stop!!! i am excited about this.<br />
Jillian is my girl!!<br />
so as you do the DVD and your stamina builds you can move to level 2 and eventually 3. I figure on average maybe you move up every 10 days...concidering she is talking about 30 days...<br />

It felt good to get a hard work out in today!<br />
it's nice to be back!<br />
I really am going to write more.<br />
I still have been eating pretty good!<br />
yesterday was ground turkey meat and black bean enchiladas mmmmmmm soo good!<br />
i've gotten on to the whole oatmeal in the morning kick. it keeps me full for a loong time.<br />
lots of water is important too! now that it's colder out I think i'll be having more herbal teas as well. they are pretty good for&#160;you and helps you with your water intake.<br />

well i'm gonna go.<br />
i want to try and get up early tomorrow and go for an early morning walk around the beach.<br />

hey hey hey!!<br />
thanks for sticking with me!!<br />
i've still be active. I haven't been as intense as i was in the begining of all this.<br />
&#160;but I'vebeen able to maintain my weight loss! no gaining back here!<br />
i feel really good and am ready for my next challenge!<br />
<br />
I now have a little PRIVATE gym in my basement!!<br />
I have a treadmill and a TV with a DVD player...some free weights<br />
&#160;a medicine ball jump rope and will be getting a <a title="stepper" href="http://www.amazon.com/Step-F1010W-Original-Health-Club/dp/B0007OWSXG/ref=pd_bbs_6?ie=UTF8&#38;s=sporting-goods&#38;qid=1222140657&#38;sr=8-6" target="_blank">stepper</a><a title="stepper" href="http://www.amazon.com/Step-F1010W-Original-Health-Club/dp/B0007OWSXG/ref=pd_bbs_6?ie=UTF8&#38;s=sporting-goods&#38;qid=1222140657&#38;sr=8-6" target="_blank"><span class="-a">*</span></a> and some miorrors.<br />
I can go there WHENEVER i want no matter what time!<br />
There's enough room for me to do a workout DVD and I can close the door<br />
and be as loud as I want to be!!<br />

While I have been gone from&#160;here don't think in any way I have stopped<br />
or given up.<br />

YES I WILL ADMIT...i slacked a little bit.<br />
but I have maintained my good eating habits 90% of the time and<br />
have been active in some way sort for at least 30 minutes evey day!<br />
I have really gotten into walking.<br />
&#160;like 2.5 miles from here to the beach once or<br />
twice around and back!<br />
it's been very relaxing.<br />
<br />
<em>it helps me get centered.<br />
<br /></em>I have been wearing my MBT's which make me REALLY<br />
have a work out on my ENTIRE body! I highly suggest these sneakers!<br />
<br />
I eat either cereal or DOUBLE fiber oatmeal every morning.<br />
I have my coffee<br />
lately i've been on a soup kick for lunch (but beware of HIGH SODIUM IN CAN SOUPS!)<br />
I have a snack of some sort...mini bag of pop corn fruit yogurt pretzels etc<br />
and a good donner loaded with veggies!!<br />
i have dessert sometimes but I remain within portions!!<br />
<br />
and LOTS and LOTS of water!!<br />
<br />
so it's time to kick it up a notch (as emeril would say)<br />
<br />
workout here I come!!<br />
